Classroom Schedules
Little Lambs offers several class schedule options designed for preschool-age children.
Class Options
- Tuesday / Thursday
- Monday / Wednesday / Friday
- Monday – Friday
Classes are designed for children ages 3–5 and provide a nurturing, play-based learning environment that prepares children for kindergarten.
School Year Calendar
Classes begin the day after Labor Day each fall and conclude with our Spring Sing & Graduation celebration the week preceding Memorial Day.
Registration
Registration for the upcoming school year typically opens in early March for current and past Little Lambs families and members of Immanuel, and one week later for the community.
Class Size
Maximum class size is 10 children with two adults per classroom, maintaining a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
School Breaks & Closures
The preschool calendar generally follows the local school district schedule for holidays and breaks, including spring break.
The preschool is also closed:
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Weather closures are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-teacher conferences are held twice each year—once in the fall and once in the spring—to discuss your child’s growth and development.
Special Events
Throughout the year, Little Lambs families enjoy special activities such as:
- Trunk or Treat
- Thanksgiving Feast Day
- Christmas Program
- Special Guest Day
- Mystery Reader visits
- Spring Sing & Graduation celebration
- Details are shared with families at the beginning of the school year and updated throughout the year.
Fundraising & Support
Fundraising at Little Lambs
Little Lambs Preschool is a non-profit ministry. Fundraising helps support and enrich the preschool program.
Funds raised help provide:
- Field trips
- Classroom resources
- Educational materials
- Special programming
- Upgrading or replacing equipment and learning tools
Tuition supports the salaries of Little Lambs teachers and staff, while Immanuel Lutheran Church provides the facility and operational support for the preschool.
Because of this partnership, fundraising directly enhances the experiences we provide for the children.
Used Book Sale
Little Lambs hosts a Used Book Sale each spring in conjunction with our Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser.
Books are available for a freewill donation, and donations of gently used books for all ages are welcomed.
Book collection typically begins in January.

Little Lambs also holds several fundraisers throughout the year, including:

Our largest fundraiser takes place each spring alongside our Spring Sing, Graduation, and Family Picnic. Families and friends often donate handmade items, crafts, services, gift cards, or business donations.
